Hammer Road

Legend says that on the property that a tractor place now occupies once sat a home where two people were murdered, along with their dog. The father of the home was standing in the backyard next to a shed with his dog when the shot went through the dog striking him.

The mother heard the noise and upon going outside to investigate, she was also shot. She crawled back into the home but died before police arrived. Witnesses to the haunting would hear cars in the driveway and people talking, but no one would ever be around when they went to see what was going on

Indian Burial Ground

An old Indian burial ground behind some apartments is said to be haunted. Reports say that if one takes something from the burial ground, an Indian will appear in your house or yard every night until you return whatever it was you took.

Aberdeen Baptist Church

There is an uneasy feeling when you walk or drive past the church late in the evenings. Apparitions of 3 children can be seen; 2 girls and a boy standing outside the church. They seem to vanish when you look at them. Large black birds have been seen flying out of the church windows and vanish. Screams can be heard coming from inside the church at night.
