The school presently located at the site was built in 1914, but a school has been on the grounds for more than 150 years. Mysterious banging noises and ghostly voices can be heard during the night. The library is where the occurrences are most often heard.

Built in 1884, there are reports of seeing black shadowy figures and having eerie feelings while at the bed and breakfast. One report tells of hearing voices near the front door when no one is around.

Female patrons of the downtown bar often think someone is in the women’s restroom stall, only to find no one there upon further inspection.
