Mcconnelsville Opera House

This old opera house dates back to the Civil War and was used as a stop pm the Underground Railroad.Restoration in the early 1960’s stirred up some dust,as well as a few ghosts.Construction workers reported the sounds of a lady singing and playing a piano that sat covered and undisturbed in a corner of the building.

As work continued,the apparition of a man in a white suit started to appear in the back of the auditorium.On one occasion.nearly forty witnesses saw this white apparition floating high in the rafters.Further renovations brought forth the misty form of a graceful lady.floating high in the scenery drops.
